Register for the 2017 Fair!

Hello students and families,

If you are interested in participating in the 2017 fair – scheduled for February 18, 2017 – you should be in the process of planning your project and completing the application forms.  A simple form is needed for just participating in the home science fair, and an online form is needed for also participating in the Coriell fair (6th – 12th grade).  To register, click here.

For ideas for your project, feel free to ask other students, parents, or email Roy Costa at [email protected].  Remember that, generally, a project must isolate all variables and change just one variable at a time (with measurements) to be considered a true science fair project. The only exception to this rule is for engineering type projects. More information can be found here.

Important deadlines: please submit your forms for all grades by December 31.

Thanks and good luck!

Next steps!

Dear parents and students,

We’re almost there!  You should have received an email from me with a listing of all students registered so far.  Please make sure to do the following this week:

  • For all the requests below, please use my gmail address to contact me
  • If you plan on participating, make sure your name is listed in the email I sent!  If you are listed, and don’t plan on participating, please also let me know
  • Please check the spelling of your name, and your grade and let me know of any errors
  • Please email me as soon as possible with the title of your project – as short as possible is appreciated

As we get closer, I’ll confirm the time, etc. but the start time will likely be 9:00.  Let me know if you have any last minute questions.
